Bang and Olufsen Beoplay H95. Bang & Olufsen, a Danish company known for introducing premium audio devices, has expanded its range of wireless headphones with the launch of the People Play H95 today. The new headphones feature a luxurious chassis and brushed aluminum structure and leather-hard headbands. You will also get Bespoke earpads that help prevent ambient noise and give users a comfortable feel. The company claims that the Bang & Olufsen Beoplay H95 headphones offer “truly effective noise cancellation” and long-lasting convenience.
Bang and Olufsen Beoplay H95 Price, Available Details
Unlike the popular active noise cancellation of wireless headphones ranging from 350 to $ 400 (approximately Rs. 26,000-30,000), the Bang & Olufsen Beoplay H95 headphones have a price tag of $ 800 (approximately Rs. 59,000). This is significantly more than the Sony WH-1000XM4 and Bose 700, both of which are available for under $ 400 – the previous one was launched earlier this month for $ 350 (approximately Rs. 26,000). Of course, Bang & Olufsen charges more for the brand value it offers, and from the features and functionality side, the new offering does not bring any major upgrades.
The Bang & Olufsen Beoplay H95 will go on sale from September 10 through select retailers and the company’s own retail outlets in the US and other global markets. The headphones will be available in black and gray fog color options and to celebrate the company’s 95th anniversary, they will be available today in a number of numbers ranging from 1 to 95.
Bang & Olufsen Beoplay H95 Specifications, Features
The Bang & Olufsen PePlay H95 headphones come with customized 40mm titanium drivers that feature neodymium magnets in protected brackets. There is proprietary digital signal processing (DSP). The headphones come with an advanced Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) technology that enables digital activation, and it uses a feed-forward and feedback microphone. The company says it tested the ANC process in real-life conditions and in its virtual sound laboratory in Stroyer, where it mimicked noise conditions such as planes, trains, office spaces, and street noise.
In addition to the ANC, the BeePay H95 headphones have a user-adjustable transparency mode that allows users to hear ambient sounds. The headphones also have four voice microphones for a clear calling experience.
To give users a better experience, the Beeple H95 headphones feature a precision aluminum dial on each side of its ear cups. The dial on the right adjusts the volume, while its number on the left helps users control ANC and transparency.
The headphones come with Bluetooth v5.1 connectivity and ACC and OptiX adaptive support. Also, the built-in battery is estimated to deliver 38 hours of playtime on a single charge, with ANC enabled.
Bang & Olufsen has provided magnetically separable lamb ear cushions to give a premium look and feel. The Beoplay H95 headphones rotate and tilt the earphones for convenient fitting. There are small flat and inward-folding forward hinges that fit into a compatible aluminum-shell carrying case. A matching textile casing is available inside the case to protect the headphones from being tapped and to appreciate their design. Also, the headphones are bundled with an air adapter, charging cable, and audio cable.
