Fairphone 3 plus is said to be the fourth iteration of the series of smartphones to be “ethical, reliable and stable”. Phones are made of recycled materials. The new model was upgraded to Fairphone 3, which was introduced last year. In terms of changes, the Fairphone 3+ is very similar to its predecessor. This is a big improvement over last year’s model in its camera configuration. Fairphone 3+ continues the company’s tradition of using “reasonable” materials – more than 40 percent of consumer recycled plastic. This is a significant leap from the nine percent recyclable materials available on the Fairphone 3.
Fairphone 3 plus Price, Available
The Fairphone 3+ is priced at €469.00 (approximately Rs. 41,000). The phone is currently available for pre-orders through the Fairphone website. Its shipments start from September 14th. This phone is limited to Europe and comes with a two-year warranty.
Fairphone 3+ Specifications
Unlike many smartphones available today, the Fairphone 3+, which relies heavily on specifications, is marketed as the answer to the market’s constant cyclical cycle. It is said to provide long-term electronics with upgrades and repairs. This legacy continues from the first generation Fairphone that was re-launched in September 2013.
The Fairphone 3+ offers a modular design that allows users to make hassle-free repairs without having to visit a service center. The smartphone is bundled with a small screwdriver that can be used to replace most of the internal components in the home.
Unlike the Fairphone 3, the Fairphone 3+ does not come with a transparent back cover but instead has a black panel. However, that does not mean you will get any limitations on the upgradeable front.
“From working conditions in mines to wages in factories, not to mention the pressure on natural resources, the approach to using our product at every step of the supply chain has a negative effect,” Fairphone CEO Eva Covens wrote in a blog post.
The Fairphone 3+ runs on Android 10 and features a 5.65-inch Full HD + (1,080×2,160 pixels) display with 18: 9 aspect ratio. It is powered by Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 SoC, which is paired with 4GB of RAM. It has 64GB of internal storage that can be upgraded via a microSD card (up to 400GB). These are all similar to what you get on last year’s Fairphone 3.
However, the Fairphone 3+ offers enhanced optics, with a 48-megapixel primary sensor f / 1.79 lens on the back and a 16-megapixel selfie sensor on the front with an f / 2.0 lens. Fairphone 3 customers are also offered the option of upgrading the rear camera using the newly introduced module.
Connectivity options on the Phone 3+ include 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 AC, NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS / A-GPS, USB Type-C and a 3.5mm headphone jack. There is a fingerprint sensor mounted on the back. This phone comes with a removable 3,040 mAh battery.
