Oppo A53. Mid-range smartphones are definitely undergoing rapid change these days, so with this in mind, Oppo is already working on the A53, which is supposed to be the successor to the A52 that was launched a few months ago in April.
Strangely the new A53 will share its name with the different Oppo phones that saw daylight in 2015. Apparently the company thinks five years is enough and no one will be confused by such a move.
Anyway, today the list of specs of the new Oppo A53 has been leaked and you can see it above. The phone features a 6.53-inch 90Hz LCD touchscreen, led by Snapdragon 460 chipset, 64GB of storage or 6GB of RAM, and 4GB of RAM with 128GB of storage and a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging.
The front camera is 16 MP. And placed in the aperture-punch cutout of the screen, with a 13MP main shooter 2MP macro cam and 2MP depth sensor on the back, just like the A53 has a three rear camera system. The fingerprint sensor is also on the back.
Presumably, the handset will run Android 10 with Oppo’s ColorOS 7.x. The Oppo A53 is already certified by many authorities around the world, so its release could take days or weeks.
