RealMe 7 Pro and RealMe 7 will be launched in India on September 3, RealMe announced in a press release issued on Thursday. RealMe 7 has been teased for its continued fast experience. To create some hype around the launch of RealMe 7 and RealMe 7 Pro, RealMe India CEO Madhav Sheth has changed his name by adding “Foster 7” on Twitter. Sheth last week pointed out the India launch of RealMe 7 and RealMe 7 Pro by using the hashtag #Building the Foster7 on the micro-blogging site.

According to the official invitation, the release of RealMe 7 and RealMe 7 Pro India will take place on September 3 at 12:30 pm. The company is hosting a digital launch event on its social media channels to announce the launch of new models.

In addition to the invitation sent to the media, the RealMe Twitter account released an image showing the presence of 65W Super Dart Fast Charging technology on the RealMe 7 and RealMe 7 Pro. Phones are also likely to feature aperture-punch display design.

Separately, RealMe has also released an 11-second video clip on Twitter that suggests a faster experience than the current RealMe 6 models.

In addition to the teaser released by the Realme Twitter account, Flipkart has created a microSite that marks the availability of RealMe 7 and RealMe 7 Pro in India through the online marketplace. The microSite also shows that phones have passed the TUV Rhineland smartphone authentication check. Also, the RealMe 7 Series offers 3.5 hours of voice calling or 13.2 hours of music playback for three minutes.

Realm India CEO Madhav Sheth also took to the micro-blogging site and gave some details about the RealMe 7 series ahead of its formal launch.

Although Sheth had already suggested launching India last week, he has now changed his name by adding Foster 7 next to his first name to create some names. He also said on Twitter that he would be talking about the RealMe 7 series in a few days during his Askmadav virtual session.

In addition, Sheth shared a brief video indicating the presence of a fingerprint sensor on display in the Realm 7 series. Unlike the side-mounted fingerprint sensor available on the RealMe 6 and RealMe 6 Pro.

Earlier this week, Sheth conducted a poll on Twitter to see if his followers needed a visual fingerprint sensor or a side-mounted sensor. That referendum received a mandate for the former will.

Aside from the indication of an in-display fingerprint sensor, the details of the RealMe 7 series are dark at the moment. There is not much to the rumor mill to help us understand what will be in the new models.

The RealMe 7 series is the successor to the RealMe 6 series, which includes the RealMe 6 and RealMe 6 Pro, which launched in India in March. It is speculated that the new models will be different from the RealMe X7 and RealMe X7 Pro, which will be launched in China on September 1st.
